Most Shows Without A Repeat Opening Song

I know we can all agree that it is amazing how Pearl Jam can change up their setlist each and every night. For me the opening song is the one I will talk about most with people after the show. After 12 shows I have not yet seen a repeating opening song.

I am just curious to see just how many shows some of you went before seeing a repeat opener. So, let's see who has the highest.

    7 out of my 10 live shows didn't have repeated opening songs, which is still a good average.
    Besides the repeated one came out after 3 or 4 different songs, so: :)

    Me too! I know the weekend hasn't even been announced yet, but I was thinking the other day that this would be an appropriate opener.

    I haven't done too well. Since Long Road came out in 1995, I'd been longing to hear it live. Then in 2007 I got it. Then I got it again, and again and again... And yet I still haven't heard Oceans?!

    37 shows. It took 7 shows to start off before i saw a repeat, and it was a repeat from my 2nd show (Sometimes at Montreal '98 and Camden night 1 '00).

    this is a great thread. the element of surprise during PJ shows is why i'm such a big fan of this band

    the feeling that anything can happen at anytime makes the live experience so incredible. it makes me want to see as many shows as possible

    unfortunately it wood take me too long to compile my list and i'm just plain lazee

    also, i think its very cool ev goes to great lengths to mix it up, even to the point where he is conscious about what songs that they havent played in that city before and he then tries to give them the perfect "new" show

    whats not to love :thumbup:
