    I picked up the uke this winter, lots of fun!
    Believe me, when I was growin up, I thought the worst thing you could turn out to be was normal, So I say freaks in the most complementary way. Here's a song by a fellow freak - E.V

    my daughter too last year! it was fun finding and buying her one...I think its blue with flowers ;)

    when I was 12 my Pa said no guitar til I master the banjo ukulele
    alias it didn't do much for me...
    but maybe if it had been a uke history may have been different. :lol:

    My dad brother and I are all guitar players, but we thought ukes would be a welcome addition. Lots of fun, especially at campfires and what not.

    We also added a mandolin to the stable!
