Not sure if anyone here has heard Sean Carey yet. He's one of the band members (drummer, backing vocalist) of Bon Iver so if you don't care for that style of music you probably care for his stuff. That said he's got a brilliant album out called We All Grow. It's exceptionally melodic, down-tempo type of stuff, but still manages to layer rhythm in some wonderful ways.
He's on tour again starting at the end of March so if you like his stuff here's your chance. A friend of mine saw him perform in Orlando a couple of weeks ago opening for Yann Tiersen and loved it.
