From back in the day. If you have netflix they have almost every season of snl available on instant watch. Anyway i was watching an episode from around '93 with christian slater as the host. Theres a skit when he and farley and spade and sandler play high school kids hanging in their bedroom talking about what to call their band. Farley plays a stoned kid and says something like "we should call ourselves pearl jam!". Slater says "theres already a pearl jam!" Farley says "oh...then pearl jammer....or pearl jam 2!" Slater says "bands dont have sequels!"
