Why so expensive?

How come the Vitology/vs deluxe box is so expensive in the uk? It's over £155 shipped when the actual box only costs US members 130usd (£97)

I've bought every deluxe set so far but I can't justify this one at that price. Surely there's some mistake?

    But why the 50% premium. Hell it doesn't even come from 10c so we don't get any stickers like some us customers got with lotl
    Plus we could still get stung by customs. It sucks

    If it's one thing the 10C does that I can't seem to understand it's an exorbitant mark up on shipping. Shipping is always an arm and a leg from the 10C, and they're sending it across an ocean for you. It's just something you have to decide if it's worth the price.

    Wrong! You have to pay £155 It's because VAT is included ($150 in the US does not include VAT). ;)

    I can see the OP's point of view. It's one I've shared before about this boxset. I've thought long and hard about to whether to buy it or not. It was the one thing from PJ20 that I was looking forward too - can't afford the 'festival' (unless I get made redundant by work and get a tasty pay-off). But when the details of the boxset got announced I was really shocked by the price for UK fans. It took me aback and I was then dead against buying the boxset. I decided to wait and see if external retailers would get hold of the boxset but its pretty much confirmed you can only purchase the boxset from 10C or Sony.

    But a thought struck me the other day; I expected this boxset to match the Ten SDE price-wise but Vs/Vitalogy SDE is 2 albums so I guess it should be more expensive than Ten. I don't know, maybe I wrong. I'm certainly not trying to justify 10C or Sony's price. I still haven't pre-ordered but I do intend to buy the boxset when it comes out.
