6 am and headed west.
Waking up to the unknown.
Close your eyes for a second.
And feel totally at home.

Love the dance of highway lights.
hypnotic yet I still don't sleep.
Keeping a list of all the places I've been.
Finding escape so rewarding.

Drank some sweet nectar at the truck stop.
Should keep me going till the next state.
Wearin tinted glasses at night.
Makes things feel so much more alive.

Picked up a hitchhiker 20 more miles along.
Radio still moaning a sad song.
He keeps tapping his fingers on the dash.
How much longer will it last.

Dumped him off somewhere near seattle.
Best for the both of us.
Psychopath with a concealed gun.
Your light's reflected now,... reflected from afar...
We were but stones,... your light made us stars
