Question about buying tickets

I realize that perhaps no one will want to answer this question, but thought I'd at least ask since I haven't been able to see the band except once 15 years ago and so I really, REALLY, REALLY hope to get to go to one of Eddie's west coast shows in April.

I've never purchased tickets through 10C but I understand that getting tickets to one of these shows will be quite difficult. Would anyone like to share any tricks of the trade for actually being able to get tickets?

I've heard people say that in the past they logged in to more than one internet browser at a time in case one worked better than the other. Some people say refresh often; some say don't refresh at all. I guess you have to be logged in under your member name. Can you log in on more than one computer? Do you need to have your credit card info already in the system? Do people who can only afford one show just keep trying for different/all shows until they get one? Should you log in way in advance in case you can't get on? How far in advance? Any other advice, please?

Sorry for all the silly questions, but if I can actually afford to go to this show I don't want to miss out just because I'm not savvy about buying tickets online. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!! :)

    As far as I know- there aren't any tricks-

    however I will say that the server can get overloaded and the site will tell you that tix aren't available- but keep trying because that will get fixed and tickets will be released.

    yeah, the site gets so overloaded, they say none available if people have them in their cart, but not everyone ends up buying them, so then they go back up again. Frustrating.

    So how do you know when there are truly none available? I'll be at work and will have to actually get back to working right away when all hope is actually gone. (God, if my boss interrupts me I'm gonna kill him!)

    Temporarily Out of Stock means that there could be some tix still stuck in people's carts, so keep trying.

    Out of Stock or Sold out or the complete removal of that show's ticket icon means your destiny lies with Ticketmaster :)

    Unfortunately I agree with you Muddy, (not that its unfortunate to agree with you) but you are right, I think this is all going to be about fast connections.

    I will have my husband trying with our cable connection and I will be trying with my job's T-1 connection, and hope we get lucky.

    Probably best to get on 30 to 45 minutes after the onsale starts to give it a little time to settle down. :)
