Marcy Playground

Hi there folks,
I have always been a big fan of Marcy Playground but unfortunately you don't hear much from them here in little 'ol Adelaide. Just wondering if anyone on here has seen them live and what they thought of it??? Do they still tour??? The other question I was going to ask was if anyone knows if they ever came to Australia??? Thanks for your time people's and have a good day and if you have any Marcy Playground related gear you ever want to get rid off please let me know!!!! They don't sell any of their stuff here at all!!!!!!! :?

Thanks for the link! I actually visited this site a while ago now but there was something not working right with it. Just ordered myself a copy of Leaving Wonderland. I have heard it before but only Mp3 but I luuuuuuuuuuuuuurrrrrved it. Such a creative little band.

Yay! Just scored this for $9.00 on ebay including shipping!!!
Apparently it's pretty rare in the states??? Don't know that just what I've heard.

Wow, I haven't thought of Marcy Playground in years. Glad to know they are still around. I will have to look into them again. I really liked their music. Very creative bunch.

I actually saw them back in 1997 or 1998ish at a tiny little club in Springfield, Missouri. They put on a really good show from what I can remember. I was in college at the time and feeling the effects of some substances that evening Their catalogue was pretty small, so they didn't play much more than and hour fifteen or so, but they had a lot of energy and the crowd was into them.

As a sidenote, I had just been to the theater with my girlfriend to see The Big Lebowski on the big screen that afternoon. Looking back, that was probably one of the cooler days of my life. Big Lebowski followed by Marcy Playground. Thanks for the memories.
