Listening to their first cd right now. It's pretty cool. They're playing Atlanta and Athens in a few weeks. I'm going to check them out and keep my fingers crossed for a surprie REM appearance since the shows are the same week Collapse into Now comes out.

I missed them on their first tour, but plan on seeing them on March 31. They are playing at a venue near Dodger Stadium to coincide with the Dodger's home opener!

they are pretty awesome. Their new album is going to be really good, the couple of tracks I've heard were great. If you order their albums from yep rock every once and awhile they'll give you some of their new songs to DL.
  • Hadn't heard of this. Had to go Wikipedia them. Sounds like a cool project. Something different and a bit innovative at any rate. I must try and check out a few toones soon.
    My Pearl Jam shows: 1 in 1995, 2 in 1998, 20 in 2003, 13 in 2006, 3 in 2007, 8 in 2008, 5 in 2009, 4 in 2010, 5 in 2012. EV: 8 in 2011, 1 in 2012. Brad: 1 in 1998, 1 in 2002.
  • I'm looking forward to downloading the new album tomorrow. I grabbed Volume 1 off of Amazon for 5 bucks. A lot of great songs on it.
  • peter buck playing bass all night and then selling and signing cds for $10 is something i'll never forget
  • Caught the show in Athens last night. Kevin Kinney from Drivin' and Cryin' opened (Peter Buck played with him and the BP, dude was onstage the whole night) with Bill Berry sitting in on drums for a few songs. Mike Mills sat in on the keyboard for half of Kevin's set and most of The Baseball Project's set. The BP put on a hell of a show, check them out if you can. Reasonably priced tickets and merch. Ticket to the show: 15.00. PBR Tall Boys: 4.00. Cool Baseball Project shirt: 20.00. Getting to see 3/4 of the original REM lineup together in Athens:Priceless.
