Quick question about germanium fuzz

Just got a MJM Brit Bender. It came with a slip of paper that says.....

"All GERMANIUM loaded pedals are wired "positive ground" and require a special cable attachment (negative center pin) to compensate for the different polarity or a power supply that uses isolated outputs"

I have a Voodoo Labs PP2, which has isolated inputs. Do I still need to use the negative center pin attachment? The wording makes me think I don't, but don't wanna cause any problems that a trip to the music store can fix.

When in doubt, I'd contact the manufacturer. They've gotta have email.

I know that Voodoo Labs has a ton of specialty cables for different gear...

It sounds like it should be okay, it sounds to me like an issue of grounding, and causing ground buzz with power supplies that aren't isolated (1spot, Boss daisychain, etc).
...and if you don't like it, you can suck on an egg.

You can answer a lot of question with a multimeter. If you could borrow one or buy one for like $20, it would definitely help.
