STICKING THE KNIFE IN DEEP

Ireland got to vote today on a new Government. We didn't like the last one, the Fianna Fail party (translated as Soldiers of Destiny) cos they royally destroyed our country by allowing bankers to gamble with our economy, and thus and enslaved us to the international monetary fund (IMF) for €85bn . We have to pay back €10bn in Interst alone this year to the IMF, and guess who is footing the bill? The banks? Yeah right. The people. Blind people, carers, single mothers unable to AFFORD to work, all get screwed along with all the people who bought a home in the last 5 years, which is now in some cases worth less than half the value of the loan taken out. They all get to pay higher taxes and watch loved ones die on chairs in the ER as bed numbers are cut and wards close to save more money. Think Lybians have it bad?
anywhoo i aint saying who i voted for but i can tell you I put these criminals right at the bottom of my list and will relish in the fact that Shrek (Google Brian Cowen, our former premier) will never again grace us with his more than ample frame )

I don't have a vote but I showed your post to my wife and she loved it. She's off to the polls shortly.
Isn't it time for Pearl Jam to hit the road and lead a cultural revolution in support of real democracy, freedom, justice and all our middle class union/worker comrades the worldwide (including, of course, the protesters in Madison, Wi. and other capitols throughout the good ol USA)? The time is NOW. The injustices must stop. PJ, in its 20th anniversary year, could be a leading force, joining millions around the world all fighting for the same cause. It's time to turn back the plutocracy. Power to the people!
