Location: Oldest city in North America :Québec City, Canada

You need to change your location! St. John's, Newfoundland is the oldest city in North America. A good hundred years older than Quebec.

got em at 12:01ish...incredibly quick turn around despite the NYC, Boston and Newark horror stories...!?

see y'all in montreal...too bad Ben's doesn't exist anymore. It would have been a great place to meet before the show...a distinct montreal landmark...

    Perhaps Amelio's?

Yeah, I've heard that the setlists are almost the same for most shows, but I'm still trying for 4 shows because:
a)it increases my chances of getting a great seat under the new random seating policy
b)the show I really want the most (Toronto) goes up AFTER the others (Montreal) and will probably be much more difficult to get. If they went on sale before Montreal and I knew I had tix, I probably would hold off on Montreal. Since Toronto tix aren't guaranteed, I don't want to take any chances of not seeing Ed at all.

i agree with you on your point b). All the "beautiful, sit on their hands, talk through game/show, get up to get a drink during the show" people will want to be there and f'up the oppotrtunity for real people to get tickets...imo

I'm psyched that the show's at PDA Wilfrid Pelletier. It's got to be the best concert hall in Montreal. Been there for the opera a few times and I must say that the idea of listening to EV there is, for lack of better words, absolutely awesome.

See you there! - On se voit là-bas!

I thought i was lucky seeing Radiohead there in 2006, but seeing Ed in that venue takes the cake.

wasn't trying to start an argument, just teasing. :)
(though, st. john's is definitely a city by the canadian definition and was incorporated as a city first and is recognized as the oldest city in canada, by everyone but quebec, including statscan. hahaha ooops sorry! i'm still arguing aren't i? quebec is also an old and beautiful city with a rich history and it's silly to argue which is technically older)

i never made the 2005 PJ show in quebec city...were you there? i went to the shows in ottawa and montreal (i've been living in ottawa since 05) and i flew back to NL for the two shows in st. john's.

Tim's Sticky FAQ at the top of this section says the 10c seating will be put in randomly throughout the theatre:

Q: Will the seating for the solo tour be seniority based?
A: No, all the seating allocation will be completely random. Seat location
will not be revealed until the day of the show.

Heh - glad I'm not the only one - I have aerobic classes I normally teach today but I got other instructors to cover them so I could sit chained to the computer. 2 for 2 though. 2nd one was easier, or I got better at doing it, I don't know.

I got both!! Yes I do think so. Usually a second "unconfirmed" show is contingent on the first one selling out. The show will sell out in 5 minutes and show two will be confirmed.
