I was at that concert too, it was the last time I was in Christchurch. I guess it won't be the same next time we are there. At the moment they are projecting $20 billion NZD to rebuild and deal with the immediate aftermath, and are warning the city may not be back on it's feet properly for ten years

thank you so much for your kind words

i can't be bothered reading that article because i've seen the website. i heard it was taken down for breaching TOS. anyway, the more attention it got, the more money they probably made from ad click throughs.
I agree, who has time for ridiculous statements of hate and providing them the attention it surely does not deserve. Hate is a vicious circle that tries to bind love and keep it from growing.

Focus on love for our fellow human beings who are suffering and put all our energies into being positive and uplifting in their time of need.

So many brave people working night and day, sacrificing, giving, in a horribly overwhelming human tragedy.

Sharing the pain may lift some and carry it away. I pray with each rising sun relief for NZ and all those throughout the world who share in their pain.

This is what brings us together...our time of need.

Yea, it's horrible, I had the misfortune to see the live, unedited feed on tv just minutes after the quake happened, and I will never forget what I saw, and I wasn't even there, I just can't imagine what it must be like for those who were, my heart really goes out to them. But every good wish and loving intention we create really does help. Like this:
