Oh my, they were so awesome!! The Chelsea at the Cosmopolitan was such a beautiful place to see a show. I arrived early enough and got in line and was able to score the first row right center of the stage. It was really incredible.

The only problem was the opening group. The rapper Big Boi was on, which would have been fine, but the bass was just ridiculous! It seriously was painful it was so loud. It felt like your entire body was shaking from the inside out.

The Black Keys definitely sounded much better than they did when they opened for Pearl Jam back in May. I knew their sound would have been much better in a nice small venue.

I was also able to get one of the 200 posters from the show and look forward to getting it framed and placed on the wall with my PJ posters as well. I am definitely looking forward to seeing them and hopefully they will make it close to Milwaukee soon.

I was meant to see the Black Keys back in January but they cancelled all their New Zealand and Australian tour dates citing tiredness as the reason, fuckin' pussies.
