I took a bunch of gains earlier in the year....wish I has let it all ride, but still at an all-time high.

Not sure if I want to throw anymore dough at the market right now.

June sucked. killed Q2 numbers. Woman got her statement yesterday...made 1/2% for the qtr.

July on the other hand has been killing it.

i closed my eyes last month for a week. it was a train wreck. lost like 5 or 6%. gained that all back plus a bit.....and caught and passed the s&p500 which made me

i think i'm going to keep riding for now. no plans to add to my account, however, i do have 2.5% of my market account in cash that i can deploy. just need to figure out where to put it, but if and when i do that, i will need to sell something or add a little cash..so i can buy a decent lot size. or throw it on a flyer stock.

Down 37% in my portfolio.

From all the trading I've done over the last 3 years, I've sold some of my stocks at modest gains and a few at modest losses. My overall performance is sitting at 1.5% profit after 3 bloody years. I was at 10% profit until recently when I sold 6 stocks at a loss to free up some cash so I could put rebalance the portfolio a little. I invest in high risk penny stocks mostly. 4 of them have gone bankrupt over the last 3 years. Still waiting for my portfolio to improve. Being down 37% stinks. I don't own any dividend paying stocks. I used to, but that's when I first started trading. I didn't feel like being a long term investor at that time and sold those companies at modest gains. I'm starting to feel the transition into becoming a long term investor now though. Once I make a little more bank, I'll put some of that hard earned cash into a good dividend paying company.

This post is kind of useless, but I'm glad you read it. It's your bread and butter for the moment.
