This is just a huge pipe dream i'm sure... but.. EV covers Forever Young for the closer both nights in Seattle... Bob Dylan has the whole month of April off from his never-ending tour.. I think he lives around LA too.. EV and Dylan are my two favorite singer/songwriters... I would just be beyond myself if Dylan was a special guest for a few songs at one of the LA shows..hope..hope..

That would be sick. But I doubt it will happen.

Bob Dylan loves EV.. He showed up and sang Ball n' Biscuit with the White Stripes in Detroit awhile back.. He is all about the younger legends.. I can see it happening..

Not as good as Dylan maybe, but Vedder is tipped to show up at a Springsteen show soon I think.

EV is not even close to Dylan in the song writing department..but they are my two favorite performers.. i have seen Dylan over 20 times.. and after the EV shows.. i will have seen EV 15 times..including with PJ.. Dylan talks through his songs.. EV likes to talk at the shows.. It would be a cool pairing for a song or two...Dylan would totally be up for it..as EV would be too obviously...

Don't get me wrong, I hope you are right and it does happen. So long as Dylan stays away from the country-style crap he played at the Pantages a few years back...

I imagine he would just sing a few songs together with EV.. Like Forever Young...and others they feel like...It is a long shot, but a boy can dream..

I think it was the other way around, Jack White showed up during a Dylan show in Detroit and played Ball & Biscuit. I think Jack also showed up in Nashville with Bob last year too.

I love the fact that Ed's playing Forever Young as it's one of my favorite Dylan songs too, but I'd be amazed if he joined it with Ed, or anyone else outside of his own shows for that matter. Can't wait to hear Ed's version of it in SD though!
"You're no help," he told the lime. This was unfair. It was only a lime; there was nothing special about it at all. It was doing the best it could.

Yeah, you are right.. It was the other way around...I knew I should have double checked that..I couldn't remember which way it was..
I was at both shows in Nashville when Jack White played with Dylan.. Elvis Costello wasn't scheduled to be there at the Ryman that night either..
I will see you in San Diego..:)
