    Damm i remember those trips now that my two are older it's either they don't travel with us or they just read or listen to their ipods and we can have good convo's ..

    I feel your pain. We drive from Calgary to Vancouver Island, with our 4 kids, once a year. We do the drive over 2 days, but they are still long days. It is getting better now that the kids can watch movies and play games on their ipods, and Mom and Dad can listen to a bootleg in the front. We are already looking forward to this year's trip, we like spending hours in the car with our kids so much that we decided to drive down the Oregon Coast, after a week on the Island. Getting down the coast won't be to bad, but the drive home...it is going to suck...unless Pearl Jam plays at The Gorge on July 15th or 16th... we are driving right through there that weekend.

    We drove from Halifax to Toronto (18hrs) last summer with our 4 year old. He watched toy story the whole way & I connived my wife to let me listen to the gorge box set. (yes she is the best)

    Have you got to turn around violently, with a wild look in your eyes, and threaten to give 'em a taste o' the back of ye hand? Or to, quit fighting/arguing/annoying each other and shut up or you'll turn this car around?

    Hope you all have fun when you arrive and are able to put out of your mind, for a few minutes at least, that you will soon have to do the trip back home ;) :angel: :mrgreen:

    We have 2 dogs in the car too...
