My two cents: be grateful you're in the building.

Of course you'd have a difference experience if you're front row as opposed to the 400s at Madison Square Garden, but hey- you're in the house and witnessing one hell of a show by a band who always gives 300%.

And what's this complaining about wanting HIGHER ticket prices?! (broke college kid here really does not understand!! )

tiered pricing creates too much of a divide between the audience. If all tickets are the same price, the divide is created partly by luck, and partly by whether or not you are a 10C member. Should 10C members who win the lottery, or the more senior members, have to pay a higher ticket price just so someone in the rafters can pay less?

--- Jack Johnson is the most well thought out touring band there is on the planet right now.

fixed that for ya. And when his tickets go on sale through TM, all the good seats are sold only to those who show up to collect their tickets day of show. This limits scalpage.

I haven't read through this entire thread, so apologies, if what I say has already been stated:

Pearl jam ticket prices are not that bad. Be it ticketmaster or 10c the price it is still decent. Reason being, every seat in the venue is the same price. I like this. Would I like to be stage front once, yes. Is it a loss if I'm not, no. I look at it like at least I'm in the building and experiencing a great show, tthat everyone else is seeing in the venue. I appreciate the fact that PJ have the same price no matter where the seats. There are bands that charge multiple prices for rows and sections. That chaps my ass honestly, but I pay what I can afford and it depends on how much I like the band. I am glad that a pair of tix for pj cost a little over $100. I paid $110 to see Springsteen and that is what every single ticket in the venue cost. It was a great show, but made me appreciate that Pearl jam charge lower for one ticket. People were complaining about a pair of 10 club tix being $90 bucks on a tour. that's $45 a piece. It's still reasonable espr=ecially considering it's a fan club seat, and 10c accomodates fans the best they can according to venue layout.

  • Wait a second...some of you are saying that if the upper level tickets were lowered to $50 then the front rows would be $300. Why would the price have to rise just to lower the uppers?

Fair argument, but if that was the case they should then decrease the quality of the sound up there too....
