    not in my top 10 but i don't think it's ever been an opener either... i'm 99% sure. it's a great song, they all are. listened to ACL version like 20 times a few minutes ago.

    After hearing a version of Army Reserve from ACL ( I think it was) I had a renewed found love for the song!! It's funny how one listen or performance can change an opinion or perception of a song.

    I agree too with an earlier post, Big Wave and Get Right are no where near as good as Army Reserve! Just my opinion.

    I love Army Reserve! Such an awesome song.

    First show I was at and Ed said they were "going to ease into this thing"...it was "Breakerfall" and it was insane!!

    I don't think they have ever opened with it, so the idea sounds great.
    Just re-listened to it & agree...great song.

    I do admit-not a fan of opening with Given to Fly.

    I am a big fan of the song, but I think it suffers from a lack of a good spot in a setlist. I think as an opener it would actually sound good, but in the middle of a main setlist it always stuck out to me as not really fitting there.
