Good show! Really great versions of Present Tense, Off He Goes, Wishlist and Not For You. My highlights without a doubt. It's funny but night 2 felt far superior at the time but I definately thought night 1 was better listening to the boots.

Its like with Nothingman on night 1. Obviously great on the night but on the boot it is simply fucking outstanding. I don't think I've heard it so good. And I mean that.

On night 2, just started Even Flow. I remember on the night thinking the solo was even better than night 1. About to find out if I was right :D

I was exactly the same Ian but I think you're wrong!

Night 1 is absolutely outstanding. Night 2 is only outstanding... :D

Nothingman was amazing! Out of the three versions I've had though nothing can top Hyde Park.

Such a pity I wasn't there so I am very glad we have the chance to listen to the concerts on pj radio & then buy them. Great setlists both concerts, they are like a complement of each other. Things you miss in one you'll find them in the other. That's the magic of PJ tours. That's why I'm going to tour with them a bit the next time they play in Europe! :)
I have to admit that I was a bit more excited listening to Man 1, probably because it was the very first concert of this European tour. So I was even more involved on a psychological/emotional level.

On 1st listens of both boots I'd enjoyed night 1 more. I listened to Night 2 twice last year and thought it sounded better the 2nd time. Both incredible boots and incredible shows.

Yeah, I don't think I can split them really. Both great shows! I still wish they hadn't scratched off Garden, it's probably my grail song but I did get the only Hitchhiker ever and Release on night 1.... :D

Been listening to a lot of boots from Germany, and this one's got a great set list/energy from the crowd and, of course, the band. Really cool improv at the end of Corduroy that was fun to listen to.

Philly 1, 2009. I'm doing all 4 over the next few days just to remind me how amazing it was. I think this experiment has been kind of forgotten about and downplayed at times recently but come on! Everyone on these forums were gushing over these shows at the time and there's been nothing like it since in terms of sheer number of songs played despite the odd mistake here and there. I would have loved to have been there!!
