what do ya think?
I'm a little disappointed to be honest. The late night Superjam with Dan Auerbach & Dr. John will be the shit

  • I am excited about a bunch of acts. The Strokes, MMJ, The Black Keys, Gogol Bordello, The Warren Haynes Band, Grace Potter n the Nocturnals, Florence n the Machine, Bruce Hornsby.

Not excited about the waste of slots used on Eminem and Lil Wayne.

But I will be there. Hopefully there will be something else to do. Probably sleep it in for the night life.

i think it's actually a really well split lineup. think eminem and lil wayne blow so that sucks but it's actually a pretty deep lineup...i'm heavily considering goin
  • After giving the lineup another look, it is pretty solid...

    best line up since 08.

i would skip M&M and Lil Wayne, but plenty of other solid acts that i wouldn't mind seeing.

A good lineup, but it may not be enough for me to go. I'm poor, and PJ20 has top priority. Also, it would be an 800 mile drive. A good variety of bands though.

I still don't understand why the Roo has acts like Eminem and Lil Wayne. A big disappointment for me. Also, I was hoping for Radiohead. Radiohead at Roo '06 was one of the best shows I have ever seen............

lots of good stuff on the lineup. arcade fire and my morning jacket make it worth the trip alone. would've loved to see radiohead as someone else mentioned, but i wasn't expecting them. my only disappointment is not seeing bright eyes on the lineup. i thought for sure they'd be on it. neil young is exciting. as is the super jam. big boi and atmosphere are some great hip hop acts.

a cool thing about this lineup for me, is that i see a lot of great artists on here that i've listened to, but never really had the time to get into. so that being the case, i'm excited to see a lot of bands that i wouldn't normally see, hopefully a few of them blow my mind. i will be making my trip for the mmj late night show and arcade fire. buffalo springfield is pretty crazy to see on the list as well. exciting.

I don't dislike them. I missed a show of theirs recently due to being in Mexico. Would've loved to have seen them live.

It seems as if the festival market in the U.S. is a bit oversturated. There isn't really anything "special" that a festival can do to make it seems unique. Buffalo Springfield is a nice booking, but there is nothing really original or edgy about anybody else on the bill.

Every festival should take a year-off every now and then!

I've been to a few festivals over the years and I think that Roo in general is special. The open pit for each act in front of the stage is a plus over anything else that I've seen
