I love cats. They're so affectionate too. Mine give me those head bumps all the time behind my head when I sit on the sofa. So sweet. :)

I have a 14 year old cat who loves to head butt. I'll put my face on her level and she'll throw her head into mine like a little battering ram.

I love it when they sit on their feet like that pic. It looks like they've sunk up to their bellies in quicksand.

Did someone take their dead cat and make a stool out of them in that pic?

Apparently they never saw Pet Cemetery ...

Maybe they did and that's why they removed the legs. Zombie cats aren't very scary if they can't move about.

What am I missing, there is nothing in the original thread??

I have the sweetest cat in the world, she's 15 and still so loving and sweet. When she was a kitten, she would wrap herself around my neck if I was laying on my stomach.

Chubby is about 23#...no, he's not as big as the lab...he just looks that way. He is sporting a haircut in this pic, so he looks 'skinnier'...don't you think he'd make a nice ottoman?

My two males do the same, the females just wriggle themselves under my hands for a stroke. A home would not be a home without cats!

does not have a shirt on and he tries to hang on when sliding off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I finally adopted a stray that showed up on my porch with staples in her stomach for this exact reason. I was trying to ignore her, wouldn't feed or pet her, because I was hoping she would return to wherever she came from. Then one day she lept onto my shoulder from the fence rail from like ten feet away and managed to land without clawing me. She stared right into my face and my stone heart shattered. Took her to the vet, got the staples removed, and have now have had her for like 14 years. She's my oldest friend.

It really shouldn’t come as any kind of surprise when you think about it. Pound for pound, cats are far superior to dogs. They are quicker, more agile, more dangerous, and amongst the very top predators in the natural world. A feline by itself is a far more efficient hunting machine than a pack of canines. They are the true ninjas of the wild. On top of that, I respect a cat’s typical aloofness towards man. I can’t respect an animal that behaves like such a sycophant in a human’s presence.

See, cats and dogs are really the two primary animals embraced by humans. When the first cats and dogs came in from the wild and began to make their homes around our primitive fires, dogs had to beg and prove their usefulness by hunting and guarding. Cats were like, fuck you, you love me; I’m gonna go sleep right in the middle of your favorite wooly mammoth blanket. Maybe lick my ass. How do you like that?

That’s a creature worthy of admiration!

Oh, and my white whale, so to speak, is a great, golden cat. Been searching for over 30 years now. One day...
