    He played 2 away games and decided to retire. I figured he'd go about 2 weeks and then break something, but he didn't even let it get to that point.

    I have lots of memories of Foppa from the Wings/Avs rivalry. It's a shame that he got decimated by injuries at a fairly young age, but I guess that's the nature of the game sometimes.

    I went to the Wings/Pens game in Detroit tonight, and I saw a chick wearing a 2011 Matt Cooke winter classic jersey. She must not have many friends. I even thought about "accidentally" elbowing her in the head for a second.

    Cooke has got some major issues. It scares me even to think of him in the minors where things are much rougher than the NHL.

    That would be crazy...especially after the year the Canucks have had. But, anything can happen once the playoffs get going. We gotta get to the playoffs first!

    We clinched the western division last night for the first time in club history :oops: now to lock up the presidents trophy, then the cup.

    I love how most teams have their own crew of ice girls now. The Blackhawks ice girls are smokin hot.
