I never saw this before.  Holy Shit.
Belzer paid for his house in France with the settlement money.
    Really?  So it wasn't staged?

In all reality, how much blow was Hogan on to think that he wouldn't hurt him? He's 6" taller and his thigh weighs as much as him...

Back in those days, wrestlers were often thrown into these media scenarios where the interviewer would mock them; sometimes obviously, sometimes a bit more subversive. But always asking them if it was fake. They had to protect the business while also trying to convince people their injuries were real.

Many of them got in shit for losing their cool; some even physically assaulted the interviewer. Big Van Vader did this, and was lucky to get out alive; it was in Kuwait. So did Dr D David Shultz.

Vader I knew about.  He had some issues though.  That was ALSO in the late 90's. The SHultz one has to be one of my favorites ever. I loved that lol! He worked that ol reporter over with a few open hands.

I heard of those and knew about Lawler and Kaufman but never saw the Hogan one.

One of my favorite commercials of all time was w Macho man and the "wrestling extreme" Slim jim one.

    Say it, say it!
