Does anyone else love this cover? Somehow, I've always completely overlooked it, and never listened to it until today (it plays on the Oct. 3, 04 bootleg dvd as the menu music) and I recognized what song it was, because I knew the name of the song, and.. obviously it says it in the song, so I found a bootleg I have with it on it and wow.. I absolutely love this song :D

Thoughts?

One of my favorites and one of the only songs I have yet to hear live. My favorite version is the one at LATG....**chills** every time I hear that one.

It was the first song I heard Eddie sing live back in '98. It quickly became one of my favorites. I got to see him perform it again last year and it just keeps getting better. One of the best pre-set songs if you are lucky enough to catch it.

I couldnt believe ed graced us with it in scummy New Jersey :D
  • They played it as part of the set at my first show, in Brisbane, '98, and the best version i've ever heard was Copenhagen.

  • I caught it before two shows as well.. My favorite Eddie pre-set song :D

The version from IIC is just okay though, it's a bit too fast and I think he fucks up the first line.. typical Ed I guess :P

Anyone have another MP3 of this laying around? The only one aside from the IIC I have is from a VFC fan boot that's pretty sad quality :/

i second that about copenhagen. was a beauty of a choice for preset. it set up an amazing night as we all know.

the only other time i saw ed play throw your arms was in perth 06 and he muffed up the chords.
