I Am Tall

So, I downloaded the track from the REMHQ last night to play around with and I was amazed by how good Ed's voice control is.
I remember when I first saw their unplugged and thought his Mic control was great, and I've always loved the fact that if he ever does a duet he just seems to get the note just that little bit better, but listening to his whale on the R.E.M track, his control is fantastic.

It reminds me a lot of the Nusrat Fateh sound, maybe he picked up some tips when he did Dead Man Walking?
