favorite version of "I Got ID/Shit"

always loved this song but for some reason lately ive been listening to it nonstop ...i love the san diego 95 version....00 pittsburgh.....what are some that really stand out ?

    Ha ha, I am also constantly searching for the perfect version of that song :D It's my fave!

    I just recently listened to the studio version that is on Merkin Ball and must say that this is my fave at the moment. From the live versions, I really dig those from the nineties or early 2000s - there is especially a vid on youtube from the Asia tour - this one is really haunting, but the sound is not perfect.

    Great thread - I even thought of starting one like that myself :D

    The studio version is fantastic, isn't it? Funny though that only 2/5 of Pearl Jam actually played on it, and only 1 of them is still a member!

    Studio version for me.

    As much as I loved Pearl Jam before this e.p. This was when I realised how close to perfection to waht I wanted to listen to was...

    Yield is my favourite album and Merkin Ball was the best appetizer for it.
    Great production, Jack Irons at his best and Ed just screaming like no-one else.

    i really like the studio version, and the 95 versions of the song. which show is it, where eddie tells us that he stole it from uncle neil and even plays a few lines from cinamon girl. i also like the zürich 96 version, because it was my first show- and ed included the cinamon girl tag as well.
