vibrating strings

so both my martin and telecaster are vibrating way too much when i play. i got the neck adjusted on my martin not too long ago but now it seems like it's happening again. am i playing these things wrong? lol . but seriously, why all the vibration? it's especially in the E and A strings. thanks!

    i assume you mean rattling on the A and E. they're fretting out?

    yeah the strings are vibrating when i play a simple g chord on the E and A string. time for a neck adjustment?

    Could be a neck adjustment, especially if it's back-bowed. Could be you need a new nut. Could be the bridge needs adjusting. Could be all of the above, which would mean a full set-up. It's also possible that you aren't fretting those strings completely, which would affect it too. It's impossible to say without seeing the guitar and observing you playing it. But a good guitar tech should be able to sort out the root cause in a minute or two.

  • had the same problem with my low E
    just had low fret action(?)
    needed the bridge adjusting, took 2 secs
