Mine's scary in the stalkerish sense. I know Ed wouldn't approve, but when that announcement was made about the Clayton Liggett auditorium being built at Ed's old high school it said the name of the high school. So when my wife and I were in San Diego last summer, we drove up to Encinitas specifically to visit the high school and see parts of one of his hometowns. Sorry Ed, but we were there and it was an interesting thing for us to do. I'm not scary, I swear. Fabulous beach there.
AskPearlJam: PearlJama101-guest says: Who's idea was it for Eddie to play banjo on "Soon Forget"?
Eddie: I don't know whose idea it was but it was turned down.
i told people i wasnt gonna renew my 10c membership because i am 38 and didnt want to be seen as a fanboy then went and renewed it.
and while i,m at it i waited six years to see the band, got tickets for dublin and had a dozen pints of guinness beforehand and couldnt remember the gig-the boot sounds great tho:)
I've never listened to Bayleaf, Brad, or Three Fish, and have heard only one Rockfords song (it was OK).
Also I don't particularly care for Kings of Leon, Sonic Youth, the Strokes, My Morning Jacket, or Sleater-Kinney.
of the side projects i've given a listen to all but the rockfords and I would recommend at least listening to their different perspectives on music.Stones stuff has a definite funk feel to it almost a LOOSEGROOVE sensibility. 3 fish is just plain different.like them all

Another confession: When I was at Columbia this year, I had no idea what song they were playing when they started playing W.M.A. In my defense, the arrangement was new, so I guess I get a little reprieve.

nyeh
and that's better than not realizing you're listening to porch or getting the names of songs mixed up.. i mean, i start singing the words to betterman and for some reason in my head i'm thinking "this song is called daughter!" i dont know why i do that because i'm clearly singing out loud "can't find a betterman!" but my brain still thinks "daughter!!!"

Same happened to me at MSG I.
Confession: I have never owned Vitalogy. I think when it was released I was a poor 15-year-old kid and my interest in PJ had dipped a bit. So, I didn't bother to rush out and buy it (like I have with all there other albums). It's something that has always bugged me.

I use black-and-white marble cover composition books only because Eddie does.
AAACCCKKK! I love that movie. Matt Dillon wearing Jeff's old clothes = priceless.
