I reached out for comfort,
which I found in abundance
I searched for friendship,
which I’m finding
still
in all sorts
My heart loves your hearts
You couldn’t have been more kind
I’d kick the ground and “aww shucks” when praised
While my heart would swim with gratitude
(and just a little pride)
you know who you are
you know what i mean
What you do not know is
how very much you all mean to me
still
My heart loves your hearts
still
fuck 'em if they can't take a joke
