I was thinking the same - seems pretty high for the reissue. Maybe shipping charges outside of the US?

is your soldier field one of the new color bootleg ones? If not, they are worth way more than $50

i was kidding about including my soldier field vinyl. and yes it's one of the originals; bought it back in college (98-99?) for 50 bucks up at vintage vinyl in new jersey. that one i'm holding on to.

  • I go to Vintage Vinyl all the time, got my copy of LOXL there recently and always there on Record Store Day :) Anyone ever in the Central NJ area should definitely check it out, they get pretty good artist appearances too and a huge selection! However, highly doubtful to find a Soldier Field LP for $50 in 2011 there :(

    Good luck Mcgruff!!

yeah you won't find a soldier field vinyl there anymore for $50! lol. i haven't been to vintage vinyl in awhile, that place used to be so awesome. and they used to have one in ocean township back when i was in high school. too bad they closed shop.

another great music shop to check out vinyl is jack's in reb bank. they literally have dozens of boxes to look through. i bought live at soldier field the bootleg cd there for $10 not too long ago (maybe 4 years).

also check out princeton record exchange; again another awesome store to shop vinyl.

vintage vinyl rocks... i used to live in edison maybe 6 miles up the rd on rt 1...so i was there practically every week... good times...saw the new york dolls there a few years ago too...and got my first vinyl copy of raw power there...and holy shit i almost forgot... i met john entwistle there back in 97...signed my tommy lp!!!

was gonna check our record store day there this year too
it's largely due to eddie that i liked to jump off of things as a child...

Yea, I've been to Jack's and Princeton RX a bunch of times also, both are really good. I usually go to the Record Exchange whenever I'm in Princeton, I know that's the more popular one, but I actually like Vintage Vinyl better, and it's closer. Princeton is really good for those walls of bargain CD's they have and their pre-viewed blu-rays though. You can get some random stuff for dirt cheap if they have a lot of used copies of it, I got a copy of "Achtung Baby" there last year for like 3 bucks!
