apparently it's true. best 6 hours of live music ever? could be. i told myself after '08 that i would never go back to bonnaroo. i'm gonna have to take that back if this is confirmed.

no i had fun. the mmj late night set that year was actually the best show i've ever seen. it was just so hot there, kind of a pain in the ass. 4 days is a long time to camp out in the heat and rock out all day all night, especially considering it's hard to get much sleep.

i might do a hotel this year.

it as hot - I was there that year too - but I guess just got used to it. I couldn't imagine the nightmare of fighting all that traffic each day and night trying to enter and leave that place. So much easier to just camp - and more fun, too

i actually read on the site that they have a seperate lot for people to come and go, and supposedly there is no traffic to come and go throughout the weekend. it's just a lot of traffic for all the campers coming and going at the same time.

    GTFO.
Beavis: All my friends are brown and red? What does that mean?
Butthead: It means that his friends are like turds and that they like suck.
Beavis: Heh heh. Oh yeah. Yeah! Get those spoons out of my face before I shove them up your butt!
    Butthead: Huh huh.

I got a hotel one year (stayed in VIP 2 other years) and the drive in and out of Bonnaroo was easy - no traffic. I plan to go again this year and am going to go VIP. I didn't like driving back and forth to the hotel. I felt I missed out on a lot. Plus I loved walking back to VIP and getting refreshed before the headlining sets or the late night.

Also, hotels in Manchester are very expensive. I had to drive 30-45 min to my hotel. Tired as hell.

If I can make a suggestion. I'd avoid a hotel. Either rent an RV, stay in VIP or rough it in GA.
