I loved The Shield (also by Shawn Ryan).

I loved The Wire (this show was supposed to be similar)

I live in Chicago (cool seeing locations)

I wanted so bad to love this show...but I turned it off halfway through. Just didn't do anything for me. Thought it was pretty terrible. Anybody else watch it?

    I watched it but I liked it. Not as much as I like Blue Bloods or Detroit 187 though. That being said, I'll watch it again.

    I didn't watch it but I know if I watch it, I'll be comparing it to "Southland", which, IMO, is probably the best cop show on TV right now

    You should be watching Sons of Anarchy and Justified, both kick ass in the spirit of The Shield.

    oh trust me i do.theyre my two favorite current shows, cant wait til season 2 premire of Justified tomorrow!

    I watched the second show last night, missed the first one, but thought it was really cool. Will probably stick with it for awhile.
