There have been this kind of stuff on the news a few times. Pensionners 'doing their bit' because that's how it was in their days. You didn't just watch idly when a crime was being committed and you could do something about it. I guess those were the days where you also brought a 'naughty boy/girl' home to their parents by the scruff of their neck when you saw them misbehaving!
