so im curious about the song The Suburbs on the album of the same name, and wonder if the more musically inclined among us could help me out. what is the instrument that makes the sounds at 1:31 and then at 4 minutes into The Suburbs the song. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

it sounds like a guitar AND a piano to me, but distorted. Can anyone clarify for me what it is that is making that sound

    It just sounds like a guitar with a shit ton of reverb.

    Easily a guitar with a shit ton of reverb. It actually almost has a bow sound to it.
