Last year DBT released The Big To-do, and this year we have Go-Go Boots. Go-Go Boots is certainly a softer side of DBT, but I'm falling in love with it quickly.

    Speaking of sucking....Hello
I'm loving it too..definitely a departure but it's so good. One of the live bands alive today. Saw them for the third time last summer and am planning on seeing them again after they return from Europe.
    My 2nd favorite band...fuckin great
All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow

  • I adore DBT more than anything else musically... and yes, I mean anything.

Red Lukin - The Feb 11th date in London isn't a tour date, it's the Secret To A Happy Ending screening with Q&A and acoustic set from Hood and Cooley... oh and it's on the 10th ;)

I'm seeing them for the 4th and 5th times in May (Leamington and London). If I wasn't getting married in November and had the money, i'd be doing all the UK and Ireland dates.
Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

"You're no help," he told the lime. This was unfair. It was only a lime; there was nothing special about it at all. It was doing the best it could.

So I missed this, and went to look for it. Found it here:

Holy shit. EZB is clean shaven.

That being said, great performance. Loving this album after multiple listens. Shonna's Vocal on Where's Eddie is the best thing she's done yet.

Any idea what Assholes is about? I'm guessing it's their relationship with New West records.

These guys have got some songwriting chops. Mike Cooley is a badass as well as Patterson. I had the privilege of meeting Patterson before the show last May here in SLC and he was a stand-up guy, really nice, really sincere.

This album is beginning to grow on me. I think it'd be hard for me to determine a favorite album of theirs as I feel that they're all pretty damn good in their own right.

No tourdates announced for April as yet. I checked the Tipitina's site and Friday-Saturday is open for every weekend that month. I'd love to see 2 DBT shows there...have heard it's a great venue and I've never visited Louisiana.
