Thinking Of Letting Go Of My PJ Vinyl collection

All studio albums except for Rearviewmirrow and all of my fan club Xmas singles except for 1991 which I don't have.

All albums are open but unplayed and were put in frames. All singles are unplayed as well. I'm not sure how much the collection would go for, any opinions?

I don't really want to sell separately and get stuck with a few here and there

    Does anyone know the going rates on the albums these days. Opened and in excellent unplayed condition?

    Good luck man. There are quite a few folks on this board that are looking to complete their collection (MFC2006 is looking for Riot Act, Binaural). I'm looking for an opened copy of LO2L's to finally complete my collection. ;)

    This PM took so much time to write, that I need to share it to not feel that I've sent yet another 30 minutes into cybervoid :D

    Can't be easy....brings a tear to my eye to see several having passed the "auto-above" 100$ mark at Ebay.....being a PJ fan I'm sure you can relate to not being sure if giving that kind of cash to what is in essence a black hole is worth it....

    I wouldn't want Eddie getting cross with me for spending "stupid" money that could be put to better use (i.e. my pet peeve, Kiva)...

    Ebay prices (especially x-mas singles) vary day by day, but you'd be able to fetch $30-60 for Ten, Vs & Vitalogy, $90-110+ for No Code, $60-90 for Yield, $110+? for Lost Dogs and $50-$150 (same day( ) for Riot Act, not sure regarding the Avacado.

    I'll prob. have a slim to no chance of offering what you want (and deserve), but would be grateful to be kept in the mini-loop

    I sometimes wonder down this road - then some time passes and I found myself alone with nothing to do and put on one of those great records... with the biggest shit eating I grin I waver around the living room, knowing I could never part with them...

    my lame advice

    keep the studio albums (lo2l and loxl included)

    I hear ya which is why I haven't fully committed yet. The new remastered releases make the decision easier as I'm not in it to "collect valuables" but to have the actual songs on vinyl. I have never played these except for my extra copies of vs and vitalogy.

    I'm probably not going to break up the sets but would sell each set individually if I decide to actually sell. I have everyone who is interested and will let them know in order my decision and price and we can obviously move on from that point.

    Thanks everyone for your interest, patience and understanding on this. It's a big decision for me and I will be as quick as possible so I don't leave you hanging.

    Haven't gotten rid of it yet. :)

    Like I said with all the reissues I'm thinking I could always have them again. I'm thinking that if I hold on to anything it will be my xmas singles. They hold more personal value to me being in the 10 club and all. Look at it this way with the reissues I could have 1/3 of my collection back in march for $60 and actually listen to them.

    what if you don't like the sound of the remastered ones? there is a small chance you won't, so why don't you put this thread to sleep for a while,,, till you get to hear vs and vitalogy, and then you can decide! ;)
