Sorry to be the bearer of such sad news, but Tomas Young has slipped into a coma. This link and post is from Bill Moyers' website where you can find more detail ... I bet Eddie mentions this when we see him this summer:

NOTE: Tomas Young's struggle continues day by day. In late May 2008, he fell into a coma brought on by a clot in his lung. His mother, Cathy, tells us they are working to keep him awake and talking a few hours every day.

Bill Moyers interviews former talk show host Phil Donahue and Ellen Spiro on the true cost of war and their documentary, BODY OF WAR, depicting the moving story of one veteran dealing with the aftermath of war. With extensive excerpts from the film, the filmmakers talk about Iraq war veteran Tomas Young who was shot and paralyzed less than a week into his tour of duty. Three years in the making, BODY OF WAR tells the poignant tale of the young man's journey from joining the service after 9/11 to fight in Afghanistan, to living with devastating wounds after being deployed to Iraq instead.
I was alone and far away when I heard the band start playing!

When he wakes up and I pray that he does. He's gonna have so many letters to read from all of us wishing him well. Take some pictures while at the shows and send them to cheer him up. Get well Tomas. :)
