I've been feeling the same way! I listened to Lateralus sunday afternoon, I'm really forward to their next album and tour! A few months ago I rented "Blood Into Wine" it was a good little documentary. It's not really Tool related, but it was nice to see Maynard outside of the musical realm and well worth watching!

Some tour rehearsal footage shot by Maynard. There's 2 others that are easy to get to from there.

Can't wait to hear a new album(whenever that may be), but hopin the material's a little fresher this time.

    Amazing band!!!!!

Other than You Lied, setlists are basically the same as last year. I'm definitely waiting for a new album and a change in the setlists before I see them again.

I would really like to hear them play Eulagy at some point in my lifetime. Also, I'm not sure if the 11 songs translate into 2 hrs (probably) but I know I would have probably left wanting more.

I've left every TOOL concert wanting more. Yes, their sets equal 2hrs.

Did you see them when they closed the New Haven Civic Center? Such a small venue, thus not a bad seat in the house. I've seen them maybe 9 or 10 times and that was probably the best one.

Yes. Had GA floor seats for that show. Also saw them in Mansfield in 2001, UMASS (Amherst) and The Hartford Civic Center (3rd Row).

Also saw APC in Worchester. All Great Shows. Maynard is the best.
  • I love the shit out of Tool. They need a new album, badly. The last time I seen them in August of '09 I scored gen admission pit seats and was 2 rows back, dead center. It was amazing. It is kinda weird looking at the amount of songs on their setlists, but it does equal out to be a two hours show. They are amazing live. I've seen them 4 times since Lollapalooza 1997. I had tickets to see them on the Lateralus tour but it was the day after 9/11 so it got cancelled.

*Edit* Damn it, they're opening with Third Eye on this tour. I've never seen that live.

"Eulogy" is a song I've always wanted to see them play. One of my favorites. Glad that I made the last minute decision to see them last year at the Nokia in LA. I was waiting at One Day as a Lion's afternoon show in Eagle Rock and tickets for Tool later that night started popping up on ticketmaster. I snagged one that was about 12 rows from the stage. While they don't vary the setlist all that much, I'm so glad I got to see "Right in Two" that night because it's my favorite from 10,000 Days.

  • Right in Two is also my favorite from 10K Days, if not favorite out of all of them.

I just wish they included more stuff from Opiate - Aenima on their tours now.

I was there........ fucking unbelievable show. Saw them at BDO on Sunday as well, but since they were headlining, and were the last band to play....... probably the entire crowd migrated to the blue stage. Very limited view as a result and the sound just doesnt carry as well. Music bowl show on the other hand was amazing.... Maynards voice was lost a few times, though that may have had more to do with where we were standing than anything else. They opened with Third Eye which blew my fucking mind to pieces!
