I have this record player http://www.amazon.com/Technosonic-Recor ... B000QFL3EG
the speakers that are built in a pretty bad, so I was going to just buy a set of speakers to hook up to it, but I think I need a Female To 2 Rca Male Y Cable to make the hook up work properly. Just wondering if speakers like these ones: http://www.amazon.ca/Logitech-980-00038 ... 431&sr=8-4 would do the job for me with getting a better quality sound.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.

You will most likely have to go through a pre-amp(outside the player) to handle the speakers.
    I ain't got no fly'n shoes..

    Like a receiver?
Their is a pre-amp switch on the back of the player does that make a difference?

The switch on the back means you can turn off the pre-amp that is inside your turntable...Yeah like a receiver or just a pre-amp should work.

  • Great thanks for the info, now I'll be able to listen to my vinyl the way it should be.

Any time... If you're thinking of getting a receiver you might want to get actual stereo speakers.. They'll sound alot better and be less hassle... Let me know if you need any help..enjoy your records!!

One more thing...If you get a receiver try and get one that has a Phono input on the back...if not you will definitely need a pre-amp...I have this one... http://www.phonopreamps.com/tc750pp.html ..works really good.

Those are the exact same speakers I use for my computer. They sound great.
