woke up this morning hopped in my turn the key nothing. I had power but no ignition. So i pop the hood and find an opossum eaten away at all sorts of wires. Turns out he ate some vital stuff, long story short he depleted my PJ fund and then some. $ 1000 later i have a car but now totally im totally broke. Anyone have this happen to them , or suggest preventative measures i could take to keep him out.

Possums have a nervous chewing habit when they feel insecure. You should have made more of an effort to befriend that poor animal...

Or, just eat his feet off, and say, "There! How do you like being without transportation?"

  • I just think its amazing that you spelled 'opossum' correctly.
You are 1 in about 4,765,023 people that actually know how to spell it.
...coincidentally, you are also 1 out of 4,765,023 people whose car has been eaten by one.

    Sorry to hear.

thanks! :D but the cat vs. raccoon thing is really not too exciting, the cat (Lucifer) will be on the porch and chilling, a raccoon comes up and Lucifer will start growling, then he gets all puffy and then lets out a bloodcurdling scream, and then the raccoon stops, turns and runs away.

Whoah, whoah, I will be dead in the cold, hard ground before I incorporate that, no doubt, European influenced inclusion of unrequired vowels into the correct spelling of "possum". It doesn't need any more "O's" or "U's"...

Watching just that provided me lots of good entertainment as a youngster at mom's house. It actually got to the point where one particular raccoon showed up so frequently that the cats would eat alongside him...but they were all wusses because they spent weeks sitting up on the shelf or the car watching him in terror as he ate all their damn food

President Bama spells it possum too.
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.
