Impossible! I've had really good apples too... this was beyond. It was barely even an apple anymore, because it tasted to much better than apples are supposed to taste!
My friend who was with me turned down the apple. After seeing me react to it (and then talk about it ever since), she reallyregrets saying no.

:roll: Nope. Definitely just a different scale of measurement! I will say that I have had a lot of amazing meals at amazing places.... but damn. That apple. It almost made me believe in god.
I can cook a steak that melts in one's mouth any day of the week. That's no 10! A 10 has to be, like, you start crying while you're chewing because it's so good! Or orgasm or something.

I don't think I've had a 10 either.
A 10 is the best meal ever. I have yet to have the best meal ever. Some really amazing ones that may hit a 8 or a 9, but no 10s.

When in college, I worked for many reasons...but the big two were so that I could buy booze, and so I could buy quality food.
While others were eating Easy Mac and Ramen, I was making seared scallops and mushroom risotto or whatever. My freshman year in the dorms, I'd open up our door (we had a kitchen between two rooms...was awesome) and let the smells permeate the hall. I had people paying me to make them food! :thumbup:
