the american utopia tour was fantastic. mind blowing from the upper level balconyi'm gonna buy the live cd that just came out: American Utopia on Broadway (Original Cast Recording)this is incredible..David Byrne's American Utopia - Once in a Lifetime / Burning Down the House / Road to Nowhereedit march 2021..want to see this..new link..above link no work now :(

Must of been amazing seeing it live... I can imagine feeling all the percussions
each musician was great and the choreography was amazing too

Never did get into these guys. REM was always my preferred 80s "alt" band. They do have a faithful following though, which you know I can appreciate!

I first discovered the THs in 1980...part of the new wave explosion.
They didn't play L.A. too often, but I did get to see them when they filmed Stop Making Sense back in the mid-80s.
I was also lucky enough to be in the pit for the American Utopia tour.
I met Jerry Harrison backstage at the PJ Amsterdam show in 2012!0 -

87 I remember hearing REM and 83 was Talking heads. I started to enjoy music around 81 with Oh Mickey and Stray Cat Strut..0 -
Saw them at the tennis stadium in forest hill Queens incredible show to say the least, too bad David doesn’t want anything to do with his past band members! His solo stuff is good but not like TH material..jesus greets me looks just like me ....0
