I don't know but I'm quite certain that the texts for the album inner sleeves are done with computer but it would be nice to have those "real" typewriter fonts to Open Office (or office for the ones who have them). They look damn cool! Does anyone know where on the internet typewriterfonts can be found? They are probably quite expensive... I have my grandfather's old typewriter but I don't use it because it's not fun to write with it. I have written some Pearl Jam lyrics with it years ago, though. You just hurt your fingers compared to writing on my mbp.

Just playing with you OP. :D I seen on Pawn Stars that a 1920's typewriter only goes for under a $100. I was quit surprised at that. I thought with computers that type writers would go up in value. From what I learned its the exact opposite. I wonder if their is a fan club for typewriters :D

I'm not positive on the typewriter. I do, however, know what brand/ style of toothbrush Eddie uses, Jeff's favorite toenail clipper brand, & BOOM's hair conditioner of choice if anyone is interested! ;) ! Just messin'.

You guys are a little nutso about this stuff, but I kinda like it! Hope you find your answer.

  • Not sure about the specific typewriter that Ed uses, but dafont has plenty of typewriter fonts (http://www.dafont.com/theme.php?cat=113&fpp=50) and free too!

Hey, I found the font "American Typewriter" in Open Office and here's what I wrote:

Pearl Jam's new album has it's longest title in their catalog: ”If I can't take my typewriter with me, I won't go” and it probably reflects how tired I am... or maybe that's the name of the upcoming 10" that contain songs that didn't make Backspacer... The font looked good though ;)
