Why are PMs on this board so slow?

Does anybody know why a PM sits in your Outbox for hours before being being sent?

    It sits in the Outbox until it is read when it then moves to Sent.

    While it is in the Outbox you can edit or delete it.

    So it's a way of you knowing if it has been opened or not.

    So not the PMs that are slow but the recipient ;)
    So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?

    oh really? didnt know that. I thought Outbox meant it's waiting to be delivered and Sent meant it's been delivered.
