How many times have you uploaded, ripped, transferred, ect. all of Pearl Jam's albums everytime you bought a new Computer with a new hard drive...I was trying to think of this last night as I was going thru each CD I had and ripping the songs onto my new(est) MAC...

I think I did it first with my IBM laptop that was running WIndows 98. Then there was the Gateway 2000 desktop, then DELL desktop, the iMac, and then finally my iBook. As well as various work computers that I've used over the last 15 years.

Here's the list of all the CD's I put on the hard drive last night:

Ten
Vs.
Vitalogy
Merkin Ball
No Code
Yield
Binaural
Riot Act
Avocado
Backspacer
Lost Dogs I & II
Jeremy (UK Single)
Go (Single)
I Am Mine (Single)
Last Kiss (Single)
Save You (Single)
WIsh List (Single)
Red, Green, Yellow (Single)

Every time I get a new computer I get to go over all the old songs!

Even as a PC user, I have always transfered my music folder to the new digs. So, I am still at only one time per album.

I didn't even bother to do that. My ITunes library is backed up on a 'cloud' that syncs with my Macs. So I just don't have to do anything once I've linked the newest Mac to the 'cloud' and it's right there, always up to date and safely backed up :).
  • This probably doesn't count but I'm onto my third disc copy of Ten in 20 years even though I have the RearviewMirror CD and Pandora and Pearl Jam Radio. I have an old Dell desktop that is fried but I won't toss b/c my download of the Hartford 2008 show is on there.

And my kids Christening photos too.

Only ones with EAC + lame. Have 140gb of audio on my IPOD + backed up on my HD.

Don't see a point ripping CDs multiple times...
