Thinking of putting Electric Bass Flatwounds on my Acoustic Bass...yes?...No?...why?

    Generally speaking I can really recommend trying out flatwounds. Donn't know how they would behave on an acoustic bass though.

    I used GHS Boomers, for years, on my acoustic. Always thought it sounded fine and they projected just as well as any "acoustic" strings I've used.

    My buddy LOVES hybrid slinkys but try different types...ya never know when you'll stumble upon something great
