...there is no other musician, musical group, or artist who has taken over my soul like PJ has. I remember working on directing "The Laramie Project" about 6 years ago, and listening to Yellowledbetter for 1 solid hour. I didn't know why, but I had to. It turned out to be the final pre-show music that led into the beginning of the production. There is something about the way their sound can evoke such powerful emotions. Every emotion on the spectrum has been covered and my students always expect to hear at least one PJ song in a show I'm directing. And my students also know every day is PJ all day in my office, which has turned several high schoolers onto the amazng PJ.
So a big Thank You to the boys for sparking my creative need and for passing it on to so many others. Whenever I need a little creatative pick me up, I never have to look to far.

I am a high school theatre teacher. So naturally I read a lot of plays, scenes, monologues, etc. Whenever I read a script I always have music in my head. Not necesarilly music I own, or have even heard before, but music nonetheless. As rehearsals progress the music in my head invariably leads to PJ. I can associate nearly every show I've directed, well over 100, and associate a PJ song or part of a song to a scene, moment, in time...For example: The Laramie Project intermission ended with Arc which transitioned into Act 2 Scene 1, and snowfall on stage/funeral scene...very powerful. Faithful led into a mafia-style kidnapping play which happened to be titled 'Un-faithful'. So many shows, so much music, so much to say thank you for.
keep it coming.
