I wonder if this would have the open borders crowd pause with concern at all. Or do they sell these alongside the dope and outside the donkey shows in Tijuana?

How do we know that it wasn't dropped by a US solider home on leave, who either bought it or recovered it from a body - surely that would be as plausable as what the article is inferring - that Iranian militants are sneaking across the border with their bandito bretherin. Hell maybe someone downloaded it and threw it away - point is, seems silly to jump to conclusions - but me thinks that war drum may be beating too loud for some to hear anything else.

Do you know a lot of soldiers that after touring in Iraq for multiple months that decide to take a vacation and do a hike on the US/Mexico border? Not to mention how many could and do get such a book and bring it home? I'd guess they have better things to do.

Nope I don't know at all, and I'm guessing you don't either. I was not offering up the statement as fact, but as an alternative to a heavily biased article. One is as likely as the other I would imagine - fact is we don't know how it got there, it could be a completly innocent story, one wouldn't have gathered that from your link.

    Precisely my point.

And my point was that article was waited very heavily to one explanation, which isn't entirely suprising.

    *pause*
    omg I'm soooooooo scared

How convenient....fuel to fire two controversial agendas, broken by Fox as a big story. And people just eat it up....could have been left (or planted) there by ANYONE.
Even if it WAS dropped by some middle-eastern extremist sneaking into your country via Mexico (doubtful), it does NOT equate to intent, at all.....It's a book. Pretty big leap to use it as justification for walls or more freedom-restricting security measures.

    You don't camp, do you?
We bring books (typically light paperbacks) to use to start our campfires. Yeah... we can forrage for twigs and dry grass and that crap, but we find it is a hell of a lot easier to get the most out of one match by feeding it torn pages from some bullshit paperback.
    ...
But, yeah... Iranians coming in with migrant farm workers... super agents. It's kind of funny that this type of conclusion is made... and people actually feed on it.

    CONservative governMENt

Our government is the potent, the omnipresent teacher. For good or for ill, it teaches the whole people by its example. Crime is contagious. If the government becomes a law-breaker, it breeds contempt for law; it invites every man to become a law unto himself; it invites anarchy. - Louis Brandeis

    Mexican Muslim Donkeys.
This story is so stupid... seriously. These fucking... 'mastermind' terrorists are sneaking across the borders... instead of coming over with legally obtained paperwork from places like Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar or Dubai? They're supposed to be these fucking evil geniuses... and that's what they come up with? These are the ones that we lose sleep over because they are so terrifying? Why are we such pussies?
I can't believe someone comes up with this... and I'm even more amazed that people actually buy into it.
