Harvest Moon

Okay, I don't do this. I don't join chat forums, fan clubs; any club for that matter, this is new for me. So my first post is about Harvest Moon. It's funny, I have been alone for this past week. I love music, I am currently learning how to play guitar at the young age of 33. I love wine, I love red wine. I was drinking a glass, alone in the dark; its cold and dark for the most part where I live. Harvest Moon came on the satelite radio. I paused, took a sip; it brought me back to some days not to far off that I can remember being this harvest moon. Outdoors, the water, the song of the loons, the stain of red wine, a lovely man, laugher, touching, joking, solitude....dancing. A song written by Neil Young who is one of his kind but Mr. EV; who I have heard a few times sing this......well, lets just say he brought me back. This love I speak of, is in front of me, is in my words, phone calls, messages, thoughts but he sings the song in a way that makes me yearn and look forward to that meeting on the Harvest Moon. Thank you for that and I suppose that is why I wanted to sign up to the Digital club. He made that song; my favourite song. Don't get me wrong, I have always loved these guys; Pearl Jam. Saw them once on Thursday August 12, 1993 at the Edmonton Convention Centre in Canada, Alberta - I still carry the ticket. But I have to admit, its that Harvest Moon that brought me back.
